Delete your account

You can delete your My Local Drivers rider or driver account and its data at any time.

In the app (fastest)

Open mylocaldriversapp.com or the My Local Drivers app and sign in with your mobile number.
Open Profile.
Tap Delete my account.
Type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out. If you have a confirmed ride coming up, cancel it under My rides first so your driver knows.

Can't sign in? Ask us by email

Or email bruno@mylocaldrivers.com with the subject "Delete my account" and the mobile number on the account. We confirm it is you, then delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your sign in, name, mobile number and email address.
Your saved places and your ranked favorite drivers.
Your name and contact details on all of your past rides.
Ride requests nobody has confirmed yet, which are closed.
Drivers: your driver license and insurance documents, TCP or permit number, vehicle, plate, photo, company, driver link and calendar email.

What is kept, and for how long

The date, route and fare of completed rides, with no name or contact details on them, for the driver's and our business and tax records, usually up to 7 years, then deleted.
Payment records held by Stripe, which Stripe keeps as payment law requires.

Timeframe

In the app: immediately. By email: within 30 days of confirming the request. Deletion cannot be undone; you can sign up fresh with the same number later.
